 Juniper

 "Juniper"
Great Horned Owl
Bubo virginianus

The great horned owl is known as the typical “hoot owl” because of its monotone hoot-like call.  It is the third largest owl species in North America, living from northern Canada, across the United States, to the Andes region of Ecuador.  It has a wingspan of almost six feet, with about 450 pounds per square inch of pressure in each foot (equivalent to a large dog’s bite)!

Adoption Fee: $150
