Geocaching is a fun and interactive way to enjoy Callaway Gardens! It involves finding hidden “treasures” either by using a GPS unit or by following map directions. For a complete list and description of the caches go to www.geocaching.com and search on ZIP code 31822. All of the caches within the Gardens begin with the pre-fix “Callaway Gardens.” Caches are placed in cooperation with the Gardens’ Education Department to ensure that the plants, natural communities, and other features of Callaway Gardens are not damaged or cause searchers to become lost.
